December  2024 - Our Christmas Tree Lights Fund 

Our Christmas tree has brought joy to the community for 49 years. The lights are put up and taken down each year by a team of intrepid volunteers, led by Mike Mason, who require insurance cover which costs £350. It has 920 light bulbs plus the sphere at the top which has 350 LEDs. Each garland (we have 23 at the moment) costs at least £90 and there is also the cost of bulbs and electricity.  Please make a donation to show your appreciation and to keep our tree alight for future generations of locals and passers-by to enjoy using the link or QR code provided.
